Naked, embarrassing, and awesome, Randy Goldman, what? Geez I watch too much SNL. I think I need to start going to SNL-caholics Anonymous meetings or something. Cuz if Randy Goldman came over to my house and wanted to make out with me, I'd totally do it. On with an actual entry now. I spent a bunch of time today burning CDs to take on my trip to Kansas. Oh, here's something exciting - I got another poem published and the book came today. My words are in print. And the book smells good. So my poem smells good. Like success, or meaning, or something cool. I feel so superior. Like I can go around saying, I have not one, but TWO published poems. I'm a dork. Slap me if the dorkiness turns into annoyingness. So I've been making up a bunch of words lately. I will take some time to write a few down and explain them. plot-tastically ~ adv. - in reference to the plot of a movie, play, tv show, etc. Ex. ~ Plot-tastically, that song did not fit. Origin ~ from the watching of last year's Passion Play, in which the words to a song had to be changed to fit the plot trafalgerous ~ adj. - delightfully upper-class, snobbishly enjoyable or prestigious; also charming or generous Ex. ~ Martha's Vineyard is a trafalgerous place to vacation. Origin ~ playing the British version of Monopoly and commenting on how much cooler the property names are talent-tastically ~ adv. - much like plot-tastically, but in reference to talent Ex. ~ Talent-tastically, that soloist was a poor choice. Origin ~ same as plot-tastically (this is a pretty lazy entry in the Collegiate Dictionary of Ahmet's Phraseology) *random song interlude* Charles in charge of our days and our nights. Charles in charge of our wrongs and our rights. So I say, I want Charles in charge of me! I finished reading The Two Towers today. Poor Sam, he's so upset. I just keep picturing the one scene in FOTR where he puts his head in his hands after they lose Gandalf. It's so helpful to have the first movie to look back on to envision characters. More exciting news! My Elvish name is Vardalindėwen. now to find out what it means... but for now I must go and have yet another ritual Wednesday night's entertainment. Fare thee well! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* the night is nearly over the day is almost here Ya know, I feel a little bit ...And also somewhat ![]() "He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God" ~ John 8:47 |
